Joan K. Moore, age 73, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. She was born in Highland, Illinois on September 1, 1950 to Melbowrne "Mick" and Mary Helen Harris (nee Vieth).
Joan was the matriarch of her family and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a driven professional. Throughout her 45-year career at Polster, Lieder, Woodruff, & Lucchesi LC, she worked her way up from a secretary to the office manager. Joan was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. She enjoyed reading, cooking (we'll miss that hot pasta & Joanie dip), watching the kids' sporting events, games of chance, and "a real good time!"
Joan is survived by her husband, Mike Dumm; her sons, David (Jennifer) Moore, Chris (Mandy) Dumm, Joe (Holli) Dumm, and Jeff Dumm; her grandchildren, Caylee Moore, Mia Moore, David Moore, Taylor Dumm, Morgan Dumm, Alexis (Matt) Allin, and Joey Dumm; her brother, Darrell (Jo) Harris; her brother-in-law, Keith (Antje) Moore. Joan will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mick Harris; her mother, Mary Helen Harris; her sisters, Diane Moore, and Judy Braun.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
