Joan Cecellia Vaughn, age 81, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020. She was born in Old Mines, Missouri on March 29, 1938 to B and Justina Sampson (nee Vilmer).
Joan is survived by her daughters, Brenda Vaughn, Julia Jacobs, and Teresa Griffith, a brother, Jake Sampson, and sister, Joyce Harris, numerous beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, three daughters, Rhonda Thompson, Rose Marie Vaughn, Robin Lynn Koker; five brothers, Christopher Sampson, Virgil Sampson, Thomas Sampson, Paul Sampson, Jude Sampson; five sisters, Janice Irene Sampson, Patricia Beckner, Nazarene Zusell, Rita Marie Pratt, Maxine Sampson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 3:00 ~ 6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri, with a memorial service starting at 6:00 pm.
