Joann E. Daugherty

JoAnn E. Daugherty (nee Foelsch), went to be with the Lord, Sunday, June 12, 2022. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 29, 1939 to George and Dorothy Foelsch (nee Johnson).

Beloved wife of Leo C. Daugherty. Loving mother of Kimberly (Rod) Lekey and Greggory A (Sherry) Daugherty.

Proud grandmother of Greggory A. Daugherty II, Katherine E. Starmer, Rodrick W. Lekey II, Amber N Lekey, and Chloe Marshall A. Lekey.

Preceded in death by parents George and Dorothy Foelsch and brothers Robert & George.

JoAnn graduated from Normandy high school class of '57. She married the love of her life of 62 years and attended Florida Baptist College.

JoAnn worked for Model Printing Company then McDonald's Corporation as the Marketing Manager for 14 years. After retirement, she worked for Enrichment Services as a case worker for 13 years. JoAnn was an excellent counselor, vocalist, and drama enthusiast.

She was an angel on this earth to everyone who knew her and especially to her family.
She knew the Bible like the back of her hand and raised not only her children but her grandchildren to know the Lord and the Bible just as well. She has given her entire life to her family and made each one of them who they are today.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, MO from 3:00pm - 5:00pm, with the funeral service immediately following at 5:00pm. Graveside services at St. Charles Memorial Gardens will be held at a later date.
