Joe L. Fuller

Joe L. Fuller, age 69, of Troy, Missouri passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023 in Troy, Missouri. He was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on October 11, 1953 to George and Lena Fuller (nee Blalark).

Joe met the love of his life Deborah in High School in 1969. After a few years of dating they got married in 1972. Joe joined the United States Army in 1972 and served for 5 years. After he was honorably discharged he went on to work as a mechanic at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for 32 years. Joe and Deborah's first child, Joseph was born in 1980 and their daughter, Shameka was born a few years later in 1983. He loved spending time with his family, raising his kids, and spoiling his grandkids and great-grandson. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and working around the house. All who knew him will miss his quick wit and sense of humor.

Joe is survived by his wife, Deborah Fuller; his son, Joseph Lamon Fuller; his daughter, Shameka Deborah Fuller; his granddaughters, Daja Denise Fuller, Mikayla Elizabeth Fuller, and Brenna Fuller; his grandson, Joseph Anthony Fuller; his great-grandson, Jarett Josiah "Jojo" Fuller; his bonus daughter, LaMonica Lewis; his bonus son, Duane Holmes; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Fuller; his mother, Lena Fuller; his brothers, Leroy (Mary) Fuller, William (Henrietta) Fuller, and Johnny Fuller; his sisters, Ida Ruth (Otis) Madison, Evelyn Fuller, and Bobbie Fuller; and his nephew, Michael Fuller.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
