Joel Rapp, born on October 31, 1984, in St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on September 28 2024. He was a cherished son, brother, uncle, and grandson whose vibrant spirit and passions left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Joel is survived by his devoted parents, Jim and Joanne Rapp. He was a loving brother to Jessica (Ryan) Burger and Jaclyn (Mark) Hey, who both remember him for his infectious laughter and unwavering support. As an uncle, he took great joy in the lives of his nieces and nephews; Alexis Burger, Connor Burger, Evelyn Hey, and Charles Hey were fortunate to have such a caring and engaging presence in their lives. Joel's love extended to his grandmother, Miriam Budde, who will always carry fond memories of her beloved grandson.
An ardent fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Joel found delight in watching games and sharing the experience with friends and family. His passion for the team was only rivaled by his love for collecting and listening to vinyl records, a hobby that provided him immense joy and a means of connecting with the music that inspired him.
Joel's life may have been cut short, but the impact he had on those around him will endure. Memories of his warmth, humor, and dedication to his family will serve as a testament to the incredible person he was. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In Lieu of flowers, please send donations to Zion Lutheran Harvester Adult Choir in Joel's honor.
