John Joseph Caito, 62, passed peacefully in his sleep May 3, 2020.
Born 06/01/1957 to John Anthony Caito (deceased) and the late Mary Carol Harkins (nee Purdum).
Beloved brother of Karen Denhart, Patricia (late James) Casserly, Mary Gagliano, Julie (Jeff) Johnson, Colin (Hema) Harkins and Andy (Marjorie) Harkins. Loved Uncle, Nephew, Cousin, and Friend.
John was a very industrious young man, cutting lawns and doing odd jobs to earn a new banana bike and later, his beloved 1971 Road Runner.
He was so proud of that car and rented it occasionally to his sister for $20.00 a day and a full tank of gas.
He also has a mischievous side, once gluing his little brother to the driveway and other things we don't mention.
Later in life, he became a super salesman, especially in timeshare sales. He was also quite the ladies man as he was handsome and charming.
John was very sociable and never knew a stranger, making friends wherever he went. He enjoyed casinos, playing cards, fishing, and travel, especially cruising.
Unfortunately, in his last years, he suffered from several health issues, causing a lot of pain, but he didn't let that interfere with some good times.
He pushed on and did it his way.
John had a huge heart and loved the Lord. He always said whenever God called he would be ready.
His family is grateful for the time we had and that he is no longer in pain.
We will miss him terribly.
Fly high John-Boy, you are now free!
Due to COVID-19, a memorial will be held at a later date. Interment private.
Masses appreciated.
