John Lee Collins, age 72, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 in St. Louis, MO. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 31, 1950.
B.J. was a dedicated police officer, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was loved by many.
B.J. is survived by his wife, Linda Collins; two daughters, Kelsey (Ray) Tidwell and Dawne (Jeff Starr) Baker; four grandchildren, Missie Tidwell, Amanda (Nick Latta) Baker, Sammi (Todd Bithell) Emery, CJ (Kaitlyn) Baker; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Don Varner; sister, Betty Cich; and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Duke Collins; mother, Marie Collins (nee Reeder); brother, Bill Varner; and biological mother, Marti Varner.
