John Paul Donnelly, age 38, of Foristell, Missouri passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017. He was born in Florissant, Missouri on September 8, 1978 to Bernard and Mary Donnelly (nee Faunce). John was a graduate of Francis Howell, Class of 1997 and a member of Wentzville Carpenters Union Local 32. In a word, he was exuberant! He lived his life with passion and lived each day to the fullest.
His Irish heritage was a core of his identify and he valued family and friends to the utmost. He enjoyed all kinds of music but especially dubstep and techno. Other passions included four wheeling and cars but a hot burnin' Mustang was the best. His children were his animals. He liked to dress up his Pomeranians Mia and Bryley and lavish affection on his other fur babies Mollie and Bentley. John and the former Angelena Hart were married on July 25, 2015 in St. Charles, Missouri.
John is survived by his Wife, Angelena of Foristell, MO; his parents Bernard and Mary Donnelly of St. Charles, MO; Sisters, Peggy Donnelly (Kurt) Hoefel of St. Louis, MO, and Patty Ellen (Kevin) Roloff of St. Charles, MO, Grandmother, Mary Faunce of Philadelphia, PA; Nephews Daniel and Thomas Hoefel; his niece (sister), Ashley Roloff and her twin sons Kadyn and Gavyn Allen; Mother in law Jackie (Joe) Tate of St. Louis; Father in law Rick Hart and Sister in law Kayla Hart, both of O'Fallon, MO; and a host of other family members and friends.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents Hugh J. and Anastasia Donnelly and Franklyn Faunce.
Funeral Services will be 7:00 pm Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be just prior to services from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home.
John believed black was too sorrowful for his funeral. His wish was that all would wear green to celebrate his life.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in John's name may be made to the Humane Society, Stray Rescue of St. Louis or to Missouri Network for Opiate Reform and Recovery.
