John A. Graef

John A. "Jack" Graef, age 81, of Perry, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 in Hannibal, Missouri. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on May 6, 1939 to John and Grace Graef (nee Weaver).

Jack was an avid outdoorsman , who enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, and sport rifle shooting. He loved sitting on the back porch smoking cigars and his pipe, and enjoying life. Jack was a friendly neighbor, who was always willing to lend a hand to someone in need.

Jack is survived by his daughter, Karen Haarmann; his step-children, Susan McAlexander, Rick Kreps, and Kenny (Debi) Kreps; his grandchildren, Jeremy Barnhouse, Billy Kreps, Jeffrey (Abigail) Haarmann, Heather Haarmann, and Melanie Kreps; his great-grandchildren, Emma Stephenson, Tyler Dillard, Kaylee Dillard, Brayden Dillard, Makenzie Haarmann, Noah Tochtrop, Autumn Haarmann, Brady Haarmann, Grace Haarmann, Charlie Haarmann, Colton Haarmann, and Lillian Haarmann. He will be greatly missed by many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley L. Graef, and his parents, John G. and Grace A. Graef.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm on Monday, May 18, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Service and interment will be private.

Memorial contributions in Jack's name may be made out to the American Heart Association, 460 Lindbergh Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63141.
