John S. Hatezich, age 94, of Florissant, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. He was born in Berkeley, Missouri on July 21, 1926 to John and Lena Hatezich.
John was married to Mary Rose Hatezich for 60 years until her passing in 2008. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. John was a proud member of the Local 513 Operating Engineers for over 65 years. John was a crane operator for most of his life and took pride in the projects he worked on. John was a devout Catholic, and he will be missed by many.
John is survived by his children, John S. Hatezich, Jr., Thomas Hatezich and Denise (Patrick) Brown; his 11 grandchildren; his many great-grandchildren; and his sister, Mary Capstick; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Rose Hatezich; his daughter, Carole Hatezich; his parents, John and Lena Hatezich; and a brother, George Hatezich.
