John S. Tecklenburg

John S. Tecklenburg, age 52, of Ballwin, Missouri passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 4, 1970 to Robert Tecklenburg and Marijo Bachman (nee Spencer).

John is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Gretchen Tecklenburg; four children, Gabrielle, Spencer, Justin, and Helen; sister, Shelly (Chris) Schone; brother-in-law, Robert (Myonggu) Schwan; sister-in-law, Jenny (Scott) Labath; nephew, Brendan Pinz; niece, Madeline Pinz; father-in-law, Robert Schwan, Sr.; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert John Tecklenburg; and mother-in-law, Candy Schwan.

John was a devoted husband, father, son and brother. He graduated from Chaminade College Preparatory and The University of Missouri St. Louis. He worked for EA Medical Corp. for the past 21 years. He loved taking care of his yard, working on cars, fixing things and helping people with any kind of repair. He loved his dogs! Every year he took his sons Trout fishing and loved going to Supercross. Nothing made him happier than grilling up some steaks or cooking a delicious meal for everyone. His sense of humor was one of a kind. He loved making people laugh--even if it was inappropriate. He could accomplish anything he set his mind to. He will be missed by all who knew him.
