Johnnie Engle, age 80, of Silex, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in Silex, Missouri. She was born in Paris, Tennessee on October 8, 1941 to John and Katherine Jones (nee Peel).
Johnnie was married to Jim Engle for 62 wonderful years. She enjoyed doing beadwork, collecting crystal, and traveling. She especially loved her hometown, Paris, TN and her family homeland, where she enjoyed traveling to most of all. Johnnie loved her children with all of her heart, two best friends, Mary and Anna, and was dedicated to Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Johnnie is survived by her Son, Richard K. Engle of Silex, MO; Son, Kenneth J. (Deanna) Engle of O'Fallon, MO; Granddaughter, Danielle M. Smith; Grandson, James K. Engle, both of O'Fallon, MO; Granddaughter, Megan M. (Shane) Knight of Warrenton, MO; Grandson, Brett M. Engle of Wellsville, MO; Five Great-Granddaughters, Violet, Valerie, Vivian, Sophia, and Peyton; Great-Great- Grandson, Cameron Iler; Sister, Norma J. Brady of Ackworth, GA; Niece, Phyllis (Pat) Mattmann of St. Louis, MO; Nephew, Steve (Becky) Goforth of GA; and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Engle; parents, John E. and Katherine Jones; and great-grandson, Vinny Smith.
Graveside Services will be held at Eternal Peace Cemetery, 1850 E. Pitman in Wentzville, MO 63385 on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 12:00 pm.
