Jan shared a beautiful journey of 61 years with her devoted husband, Jerry Maple. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Jan was not only a dedicated wife but also a committed mother to her three children: Scott Maple, LeeAnn (Donny) Chrisco, and Angela (Kenny) Ward. Her pride in her family was evident, and she found immeasurable joy in being a grandmother. Jan adored her grandchildren, Justin Chrisco, Bridgette Chrisco, Jada Ward, and Kendall Ward, and embraced every opportunity to share her culinary talents and create lasting impressions in their hearts.
An active member of the Red Hats Organization, Jan loved to travel with Jerry, exploring destinations both near and far. Her zest for life was evident in everything she did, from gardening, organizing gatherings filled with laughter to creating delicious meals that brought everyone together around the dining table. An excellent chef, Jan took immense pleasure in cooking for her family, knowing that good food was a way to bring joy to those she loved.
Throughout her life, Jan carried the memory of her beloved parents, Jon and Alice Lee, her Parents-In-Law, Ivan and Phoebe Maple, and her infant sister, Patricia Lee, with her. While their absence was felt deeply, their love and influence shaped the remarkable woman Jan became, a source of strength and kindness to those who were fortunate enough to know her.
