Joseph H. Atzert, age 85, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 24, 1932 to the late Edward and Alvina Atzert (nee Eiler).
Joseph was a shipping and office clerk at Procter and Gamble for 35 years. He was married to his loving wife Lela Atzert (nee Caldwell) for 64 years.
Joseph is survived by his devoted wife, Lela J. Atzert; beloved children, Christina L. (Bob) Mochel and Daniel Atzert; grandchildren, Rob E. Mochel and Lisa J. (Andrew) Geiser; great-grandchild, Ellah Geiser and David Geiser; siblings, Bernadine Sullentrup and Ken (Margie) Atzert and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral Ceremony will be 5:00 pm Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm December 16, 2017 prior to the service at Newcomer. Interment will be private.
