Joseph Mark Gordon

Joseph Mark Gordon, age 53, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born in Granite City, Illinois on August 1, 1963. Mark was a Carpenter and Artist, loved camping and the outdoors, was a mountain biker, biking from St. Louis to the Mississippi coast, back to St. Louis and, from here to Kansas City. He loved animals, had a wild sense of humor and a laugh that no one could forget. His sweet soul could be felt whenever you were near him. He was always gracious and humble and even though he had little, he was the first to help someone in need. We dearly love & miss you Mark. We will be together again.

Survivors include his Father, David L. Gordon of Granite City, IL; Mother, Dorothy (nee Kinney)Mitchell of Maryland Heights, MO; a daughter, Meghan Gordon of St. Louis, Missouri; his brothers and sisters, Janice Sheets of Johnson City, Tennessee, Ginger Davis of Maryland Heights, Missouri, Jim Gordon of St. Louis, John Gordon of Granite City, Illinois, David Allen Gordon of Olympia, Washington, Keith Gordon of O'Fallon, Missouri, Patricia Gordon of Clayton, Missouri and Rosanna Weaver of Shiloh, Illinois; one nephew and six nieces; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother David L. Gordon and a nephew Jason A. Gordon.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Memorial for Mark in park, Loaves & Fishes, New Life Evangelistic Center, or St. Patricks House via Newcomer Funeral Home.

Memorial Services will be 10:00 am Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 with Rev. Robert Thompson officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home.
