Joseph L. Schreck

Joseph Leo Schreck, age 82, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away with his loving family by his side on Monday, October 31, 2022 in Saint Peters, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 14, 1940 to Theobald and Virginia Schreck (nee Orf).

Joseph adored his wife Sandy of 62 years. He was very active in the Catholic church, spending time with Knights of Columbus, volunteering with the church, and The Saint Christopher's Men's Club. In his free time Joseph loved spending time with all of his grandkids.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Sandy Schreck; children, Dawn Bockelkamp, Joseph E. Schreck, and Michelle (Brian) Carbrey; six grandchildren, Heather Bockelkamp, Scott (Andrea) Bockelkamp, Kaitlyn Carbrey, Brianna Carbrey, Angel Schreck, Sarah Schreck; three great-grandchildren, Tristan Bockelkamp, Daxton Bockelkamp, Quintin Bockelkamp; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia and Theobald Schreck; son-in-law, Richard Bockelkamp; two grandchildren, Danielle Carbrey and Holly Carbrey.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at St. Peters Chapel, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376 on November 6, 2022. Mass will be 10:30 am Monday, November 7, 2022 with a visitation one hour prior to Mass at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 1355 Motherhead Rd, Cottleville, MO 63304. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
