Joseph Edward Simon, age 88, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022 in O'Fallon, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 20, 1934 to Joseph and Hilda Simon (nee Horvath).
He was married to his wife, Shirley Simon for 64 years.
Joseph was an avid hunter and loved to fix things, garden, and spending time with his family. His best talent was baking. He made the best pies. Joseph was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Joseph is survived by his, two daughters, Debbie (Scott) Lauer, and Tammy (Tom) Vincenc; son, Joseph (Barb) Simon III; brother, Jim (Kathy) Simon; three granddaughters, Leah Lauer, Jennifer (Jason) Caimi, and Tara Vincenc; four grandsons, Daniel (Chelsey) Lauer, Spencer Simon, Tom (Lauren) Vincenc, and Rick (Madison) Vincenc; 8 great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Simon; parents, Joseph Simon Sr and Hilda Simon; and sister, Jeanette (Earl) Lanier.
