Joyce Marie McKenzie

Joyce Marie Mckenzie, age 93, of Lake St. Louis passed away on September 5, 2024 of natural causes.

She was born to the late Frederick “Emil” Herd and Marie T. Herd in St. Louis, MO on September 17, 1930. She was married to the late Kenneth E. McKenzie for 47 years and was a devoted mother to the late James Michael Dehn. She was preceded in death by her brother James B. Herd.

She was survived by her brother Robert T. Herd and by many friends, nieces, nephews and their children.

Joyce retired as an executive secretary from McDonnell Aircraft/Boeing company at age 70 and was known for her dedication to her marriage, hard work, and her keen sense of humor. She donated her body to the St. Louis University-School of Medicine.

A visitation will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home (St. Peters) on Friday, November 15, from 4 PM to 7:30 PM.
