Juan Gomez Rodriguez

Juan Gomez Rodriguez, age 87 passed away on Monday, July 1st, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Gomez and Ignacia Rodriguez, brother Jesus Gomez and Ignacio Gomez, and sister-in-law, Delores Thomasson, and brother-in-law, Isaias Sanabria, and nephews, Miguel Sanabria, and Arturo Figueroa, and niece, Leticia Plancarte.

Survived by his wife, Ofelia Gomez (nee Solis), his children, Lupita Gomez, Angelica Gomez, John Gomez, Ofelia Gomez-Gonzalez (Rafael Gonzalez), Ignacio Gomez (Minerva Hernandez) and Emilio Gomez, grandfather to Rico (Sarah Tidwell), Andrea, Anissa, Ariel, Alexia, Isaac, Elizabeth, Natalia and Gabriel. Great granddaughter, Sofia.

Dear brother to Lupe Gomez, Josefina Gomez (Ramon Plancarte), Cuca Gomez (Arturo Figueroa), Jose Gomez (Cristina Prosser), Neftali Gomez, Fernando Gomez (Carmen Navarro) and Antonio Gomez. He was a dear brother-in-law to Gustavo (Rosa), Ignacio (Maria) and Martha (Juan) and uncle to many.

He was born in the town of El Llano, in south central Mexico and made his home, with his family, in South St. Louis and later moved to O’Fallon, MO. He was an avid Sudoku player and loved the game of baseball, following his favorite team, the Cardinals. He touched many lives and was beloved by all for his kind heart, great sense of humor and beautiful personality.

Funeral Ceremony will be 4:30 pm followed by a visitation from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, all on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
