Judy Shook

Born April 12, 1946, in Oklahoma City, OK, died February 12, 2023 in St. Louis, MO following a long illness. Judy was a graduate of Putnam City HS and Central State College. She was a school time Mom to all of her second-grade students throughout her long teaching career in the Tulsa Public Schools and a full time mom to numerous (at least six) rescue dogs. Judy is survived by her sister, Susan McCool, her brother-in-law Paul McCool, her nephews Scott, John and Matt, her nieces-in-law Samara, Jessie, and Shelley, her great-nephew Carlo, her ex-husband Glenn Shook and a stepson Tim. She will be remembered for her incredible, dry sense of humor, her devotion to friends and her love of funny movies and special love of all her rescued "underdogs". She was a gentle, quiet, kind soul and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
