Julia Caroline Neumeier, age 80, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed through Heavens gates on Monday, January 11, 2021. She was born in Norfolk, Nebraska on April 2, 1940 to her parents Walter and Helen John.
Julia is survived by her husband, Orvin Neumeier, sons, John (Diane) Neumeier, Mark (Kim) Neumeier, James Neumeier; grandchildren, Austin (Chloe), Bryce (Janisa), Justin (Stacey), Adam (Christina), Hannah, Samuel, and 3 great-grandchildren as well as a host of other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Helen E John; and sister Karen.
Julia was passionate in supporting her family, volunteering in the community, was a Sunday School teacher for adults and children, a Bethel Bible instructor, served on many Lutheran Church Missouri Synod boards and committees, was a member of the quilting club and loved sharing her Lutheran faith throughout her life.
She had served as the past President of the Heritage Eagle Bend Women's Golf League in Aurora, CO; past President of the Lutheran Hospital Auxiliary in Norfolk, NE. She enjoyed spending time with family, relaxing while playing golf, playing Mah Jong with her friends, had a sweet heart and special love for animals (especially kitty cats).
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 9:30 - 11:00 am. Memorial service will begin at 11:00 am at St. Louis Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will be private at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, other vehicles are welcome to join in the procession.
