Julie Marie Endraske

July 4, 1987 — January 30, 2022

Julie Marie Endraske, age 34, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Sunday, January 30, 2022. She was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on July 4, 1987 to Paul and Linda Endraske (nee Beach).

Julie was born in and spent most of her life in St. Louis. She attended K-8 at St. Jerome School in Bissel Hills. Julie then went on to excel both in and out of the classroom at Incarnate Word Academy High School. As a scholar athlete, she was an honors student every semester and played on the IWA soccer and basketball teams, contributing to the pursuit of many state championship titles.

Julie discovered her love for working with children while doing her Christian senior service project at a children's headstart facility for low-income families. She graduated from the University of Missouri- Columbia, with degrees in Psychology and Children and Family Studies.

Julie had plans to begin graduate work in Child Psychology with studies in Italy, but her plans were cut short by an injury. She instead took a different path as a lead teacher at Chesterfield Academy in the four year-old classroom. It was during that time that Julie developed her hobby and love of crafting which later flourished into a career of its own. She started her own business designing and making infant, children's, and adult customized clothing. However, her love of children is what fueled her desire to continue caring for children as a secondary career. She thus nannied for numerous families over the years, bringing warmth, creativity, personality, and boundless joy to the children in her care.

Julie was the light of our lives and the glue of our family. She was the organizer, the planner, and go-to person for so many. Julie's heart was huge and she always made time for anyone who needed her. She unselfishly put the needs of others first, sometimes at the expense of her own needs. She always saw the goodness in everyone and the positive side of every situation.

Julie was also a sports fanatic. She was the most devoted Cardinals, Blues, and US Soccer fan. She never missed a game. For the past decade, she's been the only female in her fantasy football league, winning every year except this year. But of all Julie's accomplishments, and she had many, she would tell you that the greatest achievement was her beautiful, growing family. After years of making everyone else's milestones, dream weddings, and special days come to life, it was finally Julie's turn to have her happily ever after. In September of 2019, Julie met her best friend and soulmate, Devon. Julie and Devon were eventually engaged and hoped to be married later this year. Julie accepted, embraced, and loved Devon's one yr-old daughter Lylah as her own. Nine months ago, Julie and Devon grew their family, welcoming into the world Julie's firstborn child and son, Lincoln Paul. Although Julie was quickly becoming the favorite aunt, dedicated Godmother, and beloved nanny, her God-given ways with children were most realized in her vocation to motherhood. What a selfless, doting, nurturing mother Julie was. Julie went to such lengths to ensure the happiness and well-being of her children. It was within her own household that Julie found her greatest purpose.

Although Julie will be deeply missed, her light will forever shine in our hearts. Her life has inspired and shaped us all as we now strive to be more "Julie-like" each and every day. Julie has taught us how to listen without bias, live without prejudice, and love unconditionally. She believed in keeping life simple and cherished what was right in front of her. The impressions she has left on our hearts will keep her memory alive within all of us forever. Eternal rest grant unto her.

Julie is survived by her fiance, Devon Rauch; her children, Lincoln Rauch, and Lylah Rauch; her father, Paul (Tina) Endraske; her mother, Linda Endraske; her siblings, Kristen (Benton) Blasingame, and Jeff (Heather) Endraske, her step-brother, Jason (Amber) Bott; her nephew and nieces, Marklin Bott, Alayna Bott, Claire Endraske, Alyse Endraske and Marie Blasingame; her paternal grandfather, Paul (Jackie) Endraske Sr.; her maternal grandmother, Marlene Beach; and her fiance's mother, Donna Rauch. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
