Justin Thomas Arneson, age 45, of Union, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022, in Chesterfield, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on March 9, 1977, to Mark and Kristine Arneson (nee Lindblom).
Sports were a big part of Justin's life due to his father being a member of the St. Louis Football Cardinals. All his life, Justin enjoyed hearing about his father's football career and telling others about it. He was an athlete himself and loved swimming, soccer, and baseball. Justin had a charming personality and an amazing smile; being around him was always fun for friends and family. He enjoyed hunting and watching documentaries and had a love for motorcycles, jewelry, and fine clothes. Justin attended Lafayette High School in Wildwood and then went on to the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he developed lifelong friendships.
Going to church and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes were a big part of Justin's childhood, and at the age of 8, he put his faith and trust in Jesus Christ. In his adult life he attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Union, Missouri. Despite the challenges of his life Justin would continue to trust God through praying and reading his Bible. His family is comforted we will be reunited with him in Heaven.
In 2009, Justin met his lovely bride, Joanna, and they wed in 2011. Justin's happiest years were becoming a father to Noah, Brady, and Eden. He lived for his children and enjoyed taking them to parks and playing outside. Joy, fun, and playing with his children filled his last day before he passed away in his sleep.
Justin is survived by his parents, Mark E. and Kristine L. Arneson of Ballwin, Missouri; his children, Noah Alexander Arneson, Brady Thomas Arneson, and Eden Emma Lee Arneson; his wife, Joanna Arneson (nee Esslinger); his brother, Mark Erik (Wendy) Arneson; his sister, Emily K. Arneson; and his nephews, David E. Arneson, Jonathan E. Arneson, and Samuel M. Arneson. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Justin's wishes were to be cremated and his ashes spread at Kiawah Island, South Carolina, where he spent many wonderful summer vacations.
Visitation will take place from 9:00-10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 13 at the Chapel of First Free Church, 1375 Carman Road, Manchester, Missouri, with a celebration of life service at 11:00 a.m. and a luncheon to follow.
