Katherine Louila Mische, age 82, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in Saint Charles, Missouri. She was born in Grays, Arkansas on January 27, 1940 to Houston and Laverne Wilson (nee Young).
Kathy married Kenny September 5, 1959. They celebrated 50 years of marriage. She worked for Monroe Elementary for 40 years. She loved those kids and they loved her. Kathy liked to spend time with her family, friends, and her church family. She enjoyed reading, crossword/jigsaw puzzles, board games, hugs, and so much more.
Katherine is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Herman) Hood, daughter-in-law, Glenda Mische, grandchildren, Chris Hood, Tom (Kristen) Hood, Brandi (David) Lochstampfor, Jeremiah Mische, Joshua (Kisha) Mische, Brother, Ralph Wilson, Sister, Angel Huyett, 8 great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Mische; parents, Laverne and Houston Wilson; son, Kerry Mische; three brothers, Houston Wilson, Jerry Wilson, Deanie Wilson, and sister, Margie Wilson.
Services will be June 18 at 12:00 pm, at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at St. Peters Chapel. Interment will take place at Smith Creek United Methodist.
The family requests that any memorial donations be made to FISH of St. Charles.
