Kathleen Ellen Sweeten, age 71, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 in O Fallon, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 11, 1950 to Marvin and Minnie Jones (nee Poteet). She was married to Jerry Sweeten for 41 wonderful years.
Kathleen was an avid reader and loved to crochet. She enjoyed traveling, hanging out with her coworkers, and most importantly spending time with her family. Kathleen held her relationships very close to her heart.
Kathleen is survived by her Husband, Four Sons, Andrew Jones, Michael (Leanne) Sweeten, David (Jennifer) Sweeten, Bruce Sweeten; Two Daughters, Susan (Jeff) Reidnauer, Kathy (John) Cain; Four grandchildren, Taylor Sweeten, Ashley Reidnauer, Kevin Reidnauer, Justin Sweeten, Bella Cain, and Marissa Cain; brother, Brian Jones; sisters, Patricia Hatten, Elaine Pridmore, Peggy Freeman, Mary Jane Stone Brenda Nguyen, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Mike Jones.
