Kathryn H Bollinger

Kathryn "Katie" Bollinger passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018. She was born November 22, 1948 in St Louis, MO.

Katie was the kind of woman who lit up any room she walked into. The memory of her smile and laugh will be cherished by all they touched. Living in such a busy world can make it a difficult task to give time to those you love, but not for Katie. She did so much with her time here on earth.

Katie lived life to the fullest every day. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, her sister trips, being a member of the auxiliary for the VFW Post 2866, she loved and respected all veterans, she liked jewelry (she had a pair of earrings for everyday and then some). She loved the color purple. Her two favorite men shared the same birthday, her husband Steve and Elvis. But her greatest joy in life was her family, she truly loved being a mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years Steven D Bollinger Sr., her son Steven D Bollinger Jr., her daughter Crystal Espy and her husband Joe, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, three sisters, one brother, one sister-in-law and two brother-in-laws, her beloved cat Church, several other family members and many friends.

Katie was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and two brother-in-laws.

Katie we love you and miss you dearly.
It is because I have a sister, I have a friend.

We invite you all to join in celebrating Katie's life on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 2:00 ~ 4:00 PM at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals-Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO. Services will start at 4:00 PM. Please bring any photos or anything else that you think Katie would've enjoyed.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorial donations to be made to the Auxiliary Post 2866, 66 V F W Ln, St Charles, MO 63303.
