Kathryn I. Cune, age 74, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 in St. Charles, Missouri. She was born in East Saint Louis, Illinois on January 19, 1945 to Raymond and Mildred Schmitt (nee McPherson).
Kathryn was married to Roger Cune Sr. for 42 years. She loved her family, holiday gatherings, and other celebrations. She enjoyed time with her nieces, nephews, and any newborns in the family. Kathryn enjoyed playing cards with family, bowling, crocheting, gardening and babysitting.
Kathryn is survived by her husband, Roger Charles Cune Sr.; her children, Roger Cune Jr., and Julie Cune; and her siblings, William (Patricia) Schmitt, and Clement (Susan) Schmitt; and her sister-in-law, Janet Schmitt. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Schmitt; her mother, Mildred Schmitt; and her brothers, Mack Schmitt Sr., and Thomas Schmitt.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 (636-875-1200). A funeral ceremony will be 10:00 am on Monday, December 2, 2019 at Newcomer. Interment will follow at Bellerive Gardens Cemetery, 740 N Mason Rd, St. Louis, MO 63141.
