Kathryn Lou Hilliker

Katherine L. Hilliker, age 62 passed away on Saturday November 17, 2018. She was at her home surrounded by her family. Kathy is survived by her husband Leo R. Hilliker, daughter Melissa M. Pilla, and son Dirk R. Hilliker. She is adored by her 2 grandchildren Brooke and Meadow Pilla and cherished by her 3 siblings Ron McClanahan, Darrel McClanahan and Mary Rhine.She is loved beyond words and will be missed immensely. Kathy loved her family and made sure they always knew that. She always put others 1st no matter what the cost. She loved people and always had a smile for everyone. Kathy with blessed to have a job that she loved in the Ferguson Florissant school district as an Office Manager. She worked for the Ferguson Florissant school district for 19 years and loved it very much. Kathy was most at peace when she was at the family's land on the black river with her family. A service will be held on Saturday December 1st 2018 at Florissant Valley Baptist church at 10:00 a.m.. All friends and family are welcome. If you wish to send flowers I know Kathy would have preferred they be potted plants that will never die because we could replant them or instead of flowers you could choose to send a donation to any children's cancer foundation. Kathy is a rare and beautiful soul and will always be loved and remembered.
