Kenneth Edward Jenkins, age 49, of O Fallon, Missouri passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023. He was born in West Covina, California on September 4, 1973 to James and Cristina Jenkins (nee Tambalque).
Kenneth was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. After, his time in the Navy, Ken was a Tow Truck Driver at Superior Transport Services. He was married to Dorie Jenkins (nee Lavin) for 20 years.
The world today isn't as funny as before. Ken touched many lives and had a big heart. He was the life of the party, always cracking jokes and making people laugh. His family enjoyed hearing his stories of crazy, surprising, or even made-up events that we have all come to expect from him. He was an avid fisherman with many stories to tell of huge fish (that no one ever saw) and fishing contests that he claimed to have won. Ken, or Tow-God as he called himself, loved working at Superior and being involved in all of the action (even though his kids say they did all of the work). Ken will be missed.
Kenneth is survived by his Wife, Dorie Jenkins; Daughter, Mallie Jenkins; Two Sons, Chase Jenkins, Mason Jenkins; Mother, Cristina Jenkins; Sister, Stephanie Jenkins; Brother, Chris Jenkins; and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, James Jenkins.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. A memorial service will take place the following morning, May 18, 2023 at 10:30am also at Newcomer St. Peters. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
Casual clothing is preferred.
