Kenneth Lee Adams

Kenneth Lee Adams, age 80, of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024, in Saint Peters, Missouri. He was born in Atoka, Oklahoma, on February 1, 1944, to James and Opal Adams (nee Vinson).

Kenneth was known for his passion for sports, having enjoyed playing basketball during his time at Lubbock Christian College and in a league while at TWA. He was also a skilled bowler, participating in various leagues throughout the years. Kenneth cherished spending time with his family and proudly embraced his role as the self-proclaimed grill master. He cherished trips with his children, family and neighborhood kids to the beach, parks, and sports fields, creating lasting memories for all. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam War. His outgoing personality and caring nature will be missed by all.

Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife, Lettie Adams; his sons, Gregory L. Adams, Glenn R. Adams, and Kenneth W. Adams; his daughter, Janice M. Egans; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; his sisters-in-law, Constance Adams and Cleo Adams; as well as a multitude of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Adams Sr.; his mother, Opal Adams; his brothers, James Adams and Samuel Adams; and his sister, Wilma Kennedy.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM, at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
