Kenneth Camden, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on April 14, 2025. Born on February 5, 1944, Kenneth lived a life marked by dedication to both his career and family.
Kenneth began his professional journey at McDonnell Douglas, where he was an integral part of the team on the F-4 Phantom assembly line. His passion and dedication to his work reflected his strong work ethic. Following his tenure at McDonnell Douglas, Kenneth took a bold step into entrepreneurship by establishing his own business installing siding, where he continued to showcase his craftsmanship and commitment to excellence.
Those who knew Kenneth will remember him as a quiet man whose presence lit up any gathering. He had an innate ability to make others feel comfortable, and his company was cherished by friends and family alike. In his leisure time, Kenneth engaged in various hobbies that brought him joy. He particularly enjoyed playing trivia and crossword puzzles, along with many card and board games. Gatherings with his family and neighbors were a highlight for him, where he could enjoy a cold beer and spin tales filled with laughter. He also took immense pride in his gun collection, a testament to his interests and passions.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Gerry Camden; his daughter, Marinie (Charles) Gebhart; and his son, James (Christina) Ashby. He was a cherished grandfather to four grandchildren: Alexander Kurzawa, Isabehl (Isaiah) Ascher, Mindy Ashby, and Drake Ashby. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Miller, and a host of other family members who will miss him dearly.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, William Howard Camden and Edna Mae Camden. His legacy of love, hard work, and cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be missed but never forgotten.
