Kenneth Dickerson

Kenneth Gene Dickerson, age 87, of Winfield, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 in Troy, Missouri. He was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on September 1, 1935 to Glen and Maudaree Dickerson (nee Clifton).

Ken met the love of his wife, Mary Ann at Miss Hullings in 1955. Their eyes met as they passed through a revolving door and it was love at first sight. They married on June 20, 1956 in Hernando, MS and enjoyed a beautiful 67 years. Ken loved boating, baking, fishing, dancing and traveling. Most of all though he loved his family.

Kenneth is survived by his loving Wife, Mary Ann Dickerson; Daughter, Cynthia (Suguru); Two Granddaughters, Macy (Jon) Gertken of Winfield, MO, Krystyn (Grant) Herbers; Son, Kenneth (Judy) Dickerson; Four great-grandchildren, Lily Herbers, Margot Herbers, Gwen Gertken, Felix Gertken; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Glen Dickerson; Mother, Maudaree Dickerson; Sister, Glenda (Harry) Wiskoski; Two grandchildren, Amy and Jimmy; and one Great-Grandchild, Vincent Gertken.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. A funeral ceremony will immediately follow at 5:00pm.

Ken loved wearing Hawaiian shirts. In his honor, please wear a Hawaiian shirt to his services.
