Kenneth Lee Johnson

Kenneth Lee Johnson, age 73, of Warrenton, Missouri passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017 in Warrenton, Missouri. He was born in Gary, Indiana on October 27, 1943 to Kenneth and Virginia Johnson (nee Dorenkamp).
Kenneth was a machine repairman at Boeing Aircraft company for 50 years. He was married to Marjory Johnson for 19 years. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force.
Kenneth was affectionately know as " Gray Beard" by dear friends and family members. He was a free lance photographer for show cars, car racing, motorcycles and drag boats. "Gray Beard" was know for his work as club photographer for the Kentucky Drag Boat Association, which he was apart of for 15 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth P. and Virginia M. Johnson.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Marjory Sue Johnson of Warrenton, MO; daughters, Lisa Varner and Tanya Fantasia; a grandson, Brady Fantasia; a special friend, Janice Powell and a host of other family members and friends.
A celebration of "Gray Beard" life will be held on October 27, 2017 with visitation from 10:00am- 11:30am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. St. Peters, MO 63376 and memorial service at 11:30am with Vince Ottway officiating . Interment will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 1:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donation be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.Alz.org or 9370 Olive Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63132.
