Kenneth Joseph Otten, a beloved member of his family and community, passed away on January 23, 2025, in St. Charles, Missouri. Born on September 12, 1962, in St. Louis, Missouri, Kenneth touched the lives of many throughout his 62 years.
A proud graduate of Hazelwood West High School in 1980, he dedicated over 30 years of his career to Hussmann, where he was known for his hard work and dedication. His professional life was only a part of what defined him; it was his passions and interests that truly made Kenneth special. An avid fisherman, he found solace and joy in the great outdoors, often casting his line into the water with an unmatched enthusiasm. He also enjoyed gambling, a pursuit that added an element of thrill to his life.
Kenneth was a loyal fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues, finding joy in the camaraderie of watching his favorite teams play. His spirited personality and love for sports brought many together, creating countless cherished memories.
Kenneth's warmth and love will continue to resonate in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He is survived by his brothers, Rick (Debbie) Otten and Daniel (Laura) Otten, as well as his twin sister, Angela (Bill) Walters. His legacy will also be carried on through his cherished nieces and nephew: Matthew (Ashley) Walters, Kelsey (D.J.) Mercer, Kathrine (Joe) Grundy, Jessica (Tim) Stilwell, and Rachel (Kyle) Nelke. He was also the proud great uncle of Camden, Kinsley and Jaxon.
Kenneth was predeceased by his loving parents, Richard Otten and Catherine Otten, who raised him with love and taught him the values he held dear throughout his life.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kenneth's life during the visitation on February 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri.
Though he may have departed from this world, Kenneth Joseph Otten's spirit will live on through the laughter and love he shared, leaving an enduring legacy in the hearts of all who knew him.
