Kenneth "Rod" Wells

Kenneth Rodney Wells, age 70, of St. Charles, Missouri passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023. He was born in St. Louis on October 13, 1953 to Kenneth and Gladys Wells (nee Jehlen). He was married to his wife, Christy Wells (nee McCoy), for 50 years before her passing in April.

Rod was an avid home horticulturist. He loved rock-and-roll music and was teaching himself to play the drums. He enjoyed bike riding, roller blading, swimming and walking the dog (but never on a leash).

Rod is survived by his daughters, Leah (Lou) Bailey and Erin Ross; granddaughter, Anne-Marie Wells; grandsons Eliot, Dennis, and Philip Bailey; sister, Barbara Holder; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Christy; father, Kenneth; mother, Gladys; and brother, Larry Wells.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. A memorial service will take place immediately following at 6:00pm.
