Kenneth (Ken) Lee Stoll, 70, of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away in the early hours of May 23, 2024, following a brief but valiant fight with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Donna Marie Stoll, to whom he was married on June 15, 1983, by their two children, Christopher and Jennifer, by his daughter- and son-in-law, Laura and Cory, and by his two dogs, Stormy and Bandit.
Ken was born on September 4, 1953 to Melvin “Mel” and Margaret “Marge” Stoll in Jennings, Missouri, where he completed his schooling, met the love of his life, and served as a firefighter for a number of years. He raised his children in Florissant for approximately 20 years before moving to Wentzville.
Ken, a loving husband and father, was well-known for how diligently he cared for both his family and his home, which he meticulously maintained. Accordingly, he was frequently tapped as a font of information regarding DIY projects, upkeep, and yard care.
Ken cherished the time he spent with his many grand dogs. He was also known for being a friend to animals of all kinds (except squirrels), devoting time to maintaining a number of songbird and hummingbird feeders in his yard and helping to rescue a number of dogs over the years.
Being a true St. Louis native, Ken enjoyed nothing more than drinking Bud Light with his loved ones while watching a Cardinals or Blues game.
Ken will be greatly missed by the many people who knew and loved him, including his brother Mel; his sisters, Sandy, Sharon, Debbie, and Diann; his brothers-in-law, Steve, Dave, Greg, Don, Jim, and Scott; his sisters-in-law, Mary, Carla, and Fay; his godson Scott and god-daughter, Rebecca; and his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to Five Acres Animal Shelter in St. Charles, MO.
