Kim A. Ward

October 25, 1958 — March 7, 2025

St. Charles, Missouri

Kim A. Ward, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend, was welcomed into heaven on March 7, 2025. She was born on October 25, 1958, in Wichita, Kansas, and lived a life rooted in faith, love, and unwavering devotion to Jesus. Sharing His love with others brought her immense joy, and she embraced every opportunity to be a witness to those around her.

Kim is survived by her loving parents, Gene and Pat Hladik, and her dear siblings, Debbie Sturm, Chris (Lori) Hladik, and Rick (Carol) Hladik. She was a devoted mother to her six sons: Joshua (Beccah) Ward, Jeremy (Kate) Ward, Jordan (Whitney) Ward, Josiah (Elizabeth) Ward, Joel Ward, and Justus Ward. Each of them carries a part of her heart and her tenacious spirit. Kim also adored her grandchildren—Breanna, Eli, Zeke, Ezra, Samuel, Aurora, and Wilder—who filled her life with laughter and joy.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Timothy Paul Ward, whom she cherished until her final days, as well as her mother, Carol, and her precious granddaughter, Isabel.

Kim’s love and compassion were gifts to all who knew her. Her home was more than a house—it was a sanctuary, always filled with love, laughter, and, most of all, people. And her house was always full! As co-founder of St. Louis Teens for Christ, Kim, alongside her husband Tim, dedicated her life to sharing the love of Jesus with everyone she met. Her unwavering faith (even in her final moments) was an inspiration, and her love for family and friends—both new and old—created a lasting legacy that will continue through all who were blessed to know her.

A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri, on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, followed by a service at 3:30 PM, led by her friends and family. This gathering will be a heartfelt tribute to a remarkable woman whose impact resonates further than we will ever know.

As we remember Kim- our daughter, our mom, our sister, our aunt, our friend, our Nanna- let us honor her legacy of love, faith, and servanthood. Let us rejoice knowing she walked into the arms of Jesus and heard, "WELL DONE! MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT" and may the echoes of her laughter, wisdom, and faithfulness remain in our hearts forever.
