Landon Edward Bond, 41, passed away a hero on Saturday, April 23rd and saved three others through the sacrifice of organ donation.
Landon is survived by his two amazing children, Noah Bond 14 and Carter Bond 7; his siblings, Larry James Bond and Hope Bond; and his father, Larry Bond, Sr. He goes to be with his mother, Beverly Bond; and Poppy (Jearl Webb) upon his passing.
Landon was a humble man who loved everything to do with nature including, fishing, four wheeling, and hunting. As big as his fish stories were, Landon always tried to make others laugh with his orneriness, jokes, and pranks with a smirk on his face. Landon wanted everyone to be happy and have a love of life. He was always challenging himself to be better through his difficult times and worked hard to provide for his family. When Landon entered a room he brought a sense of lightness and calm through his easy going personality.
Not only was Landon humble and kind, he was also adventurous and lived with no fear. He enjoyed riding on his motorcycle and standing on stage with his band and brotherhood, performing for others to enjoy. He jumped off cliffs into rivers and showed his love of life by always trying something new. And boy did he make the best deer steaks!
Landon loved his family, especially his mother as it was known that he was a Mama's Boy. He was a proud father to his two sons he adored. He loved and looked up to his siblings and always wanted to make sure they were okay. He loved his nieces and nephews and was always their uncle "dun dun", who played with them as if he too were a kid. Landon would give the shirt off his back to help others.
Landon's smile and love of life will be forever missed. A celebration of life has been scheduled as follows:
