Larry T. Agers, age 85, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 11, 1936 to Thomas and Katherine Agers (nee Koester).
Larry was in the U.S. Air Force for four years and worked as a U.S. Army supply cataloger until he retired in 1988. After retirement, he spent much of his time reading the bible and memorizing scripture. His favorite book of the Bible was John and was able to recite much of it. He loved talking about God's word and the importance of spending time in it.
Larry was married to Joyce Agers for 48 years. After she passed in 2009, he would fondly recall some of their special moments together. Something so routine yet so meaningful to him later on was their trips to the grocery store. Joyce would hold out her hand with the coupons she had clipped, waiting for Larry to take the ones they needed that day. It's the little things that are most meaningful.
Larry is survived by his children Steve (Sue) Agers, Chris (Wendy) Agers, and Donna (Jason) Fricke. Also survived by his grandchildren, Hayley (Tyler) Iwasyszyn, and Sydney Agers; and great-grandchild Emery Iwasyszyn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Katherine Agers; and his wife, Joyce Agers.
