Larry F. Dewoody

Larry F. DeWoody, age 67, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 in Saint Peters, Missouri. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on December 24, 1951 to Aubrey and Verda DeWoody (nee Hayes).

Larry was married to Laura DeWoody for 48 years. He was a loving father and grandfather. Larry loved the outdoors especially hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends at his cabin. Larry had a great sense of humor and was a wonderful storyteller. He worked at Chrysler for 28 years.

Larry is survived by his wife, Laura DeWoody; daughters, Stacie (Jeff) Wulfert, and Amy DeWoody; granddaughters, Cameron Wulfert, Aubrey Wulfert, and Riley Wulfert; and sister, Mary Triplett. He will be a dearly missed brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle and friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his father, Aubrey DeWoody; mother, Verda DeWoody; and sisters, Patsy Barker, Jean Bruce.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Newcomer, St Peters Chapel, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 (636-875-1200) with Billy Sullivan officiating. A funeral ceremony will be at 3:00 pm on Friday, September 27, 2019. Interment will be private.
