Larry E. Erwin

Beloved husband of Sandra (nee Saettele), loving son of the late Myers and Agnes (nee Baker) Erwin. Treasured father of Douglas (Abby), Jeffrey, and Patricia Erwin and Victoria (Garry) Binford. Cherished grandfather of Kyle, Sean, and Rhys Erwin; and Frederick and Eleanor Binford. Valued brother of John (Jennie), Dan (Susan), and the late Kenneth (Janet) Erwin. Dear brother-in-law of Neil (Susanne), Gary (Diane), Mark (Linda) and the late Ron (Carol) Saettele.

Mr. Erwin was a Physical Metallurgist by occupation. He had a myriad of interests including football, bowling, golf, singing, hunting, fishing, gardening, electronics, and carpentry. He was a member of the St. Peter's Church Choir, Missouri Choral Society and was an Arts for Life judge of Musical Plays. Mr. Erwin was also a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, the International Order of Foresters, and the Boy Scouts of America.He volunteered for numerous organizations as well. His life was very full but he always found time for his family and those in need.

In 2009, Mr. Erwin survived a massive stroke but he persevered with many years of therapy, spending time at the St. Elizabeth Adult Day Care working on his cross word puzzles.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the following three charities in Mr. Erwin's honor: St. Peter's Catholic Church, Birthright, and the St. Elizabeth Adult Day Care.
