Larry O'Brien, age 76, of Maryland Heights, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 in Wright City, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 30, 1945 to James and Opal O'Brien (nee Stokes).
Larry is survived by his children Shelly (Randy) Halford, Michael O'Brien, James O'Brien, and Blake (Tomi) O'Brien; sister Mary O'Brien; grandchildren Jacob Halford, Daniel Halford, Kara Halford, and TJ Benney; and former wife Mary Homyk.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Opal O'Brien; and brother Patrick O'Brien.
Larry was a dedicated and hard worker, and found success owning his own business for over 30 years. In his free time he enjoyed gambling, and he loved spending time outdoors fishing. He was an avid sports fan, and loved attending Cardinals baseball games and Nascar races.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Larry's honor to the Alzheimer's Association.
