Larry Schroeder, born on February 10, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025, in O'Fallon, Missouri.
Larry was a dedicated police officer, who was honored by receiving a Medal of Valor for performing heroic acts off duty. Outside of law enforcement Larry was a successful salesmen, passionate caretaker of the long time family farm and duck hunting club.
Larry was a larger than life guy who cared deeply for others, had an unmatched knowledge of the St. Louis Blues history and a passion for the great outdoors. He found joy in duck hunting, fishing, and activities that allowed him to connect with nature while creating lasting memories with friends and family.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Diane Schroeder, his three step-sons, Joshua, Jason and Zachary Thomas. He also leaves behind his brothers, Terry, Gary and Jerry Schroeder, along with his nephews, great nieces, and granddaughter.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Schroeder and Beatrice Schroeder. His legacy of courage, kindness, and adventure will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be profoundly missed by his family and friends, who will forever hold his memory dear.
