Laurie Franz

Laurie Franz, 59, of St. Peters, Fortified with the sacraments of the Catholic Church, passed away Thursday February 18, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. Laurie was born January 12, 1957 in Granite City to Nora (Codemo) and Marion "Buzz" Morris. Laurie and her husband John founded JLF INC where they worked together for more than 26 years. She enjoyed fishing, crafting, and spending as much time as possible with her family.
She is survived by her Husband of 35 years John L. Franz; Daughter Sarah E. Franz (Stephanie Burger), Son Michael Franz (Bethanie), and Son Anthony Franz; Sisters, Judy Kuehn (Don), Cindy Parsaghian (Bob), Debbie Greco (Tom), and Brother, John Morris (Sue). Laurie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Patricia Greenwell.
The Franz's will receive friends and family Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at St. Ambrose on the Hill where a Mass of Celebration will follow at 11:00 am.
