Lavern Orlen McLane (nee Sutton), age 66, of O Fallon, Missouri passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023 in O Fallon, Missouri. She was born in Normandy, Missouri on December 31, 1956 to John Arthur and Lavern Orlen Sutton (nee Wegen).
Lavern graduated from Fort Zumwalt High School in 1975. She went on to work at Bogie Hills Country Club assisting the chef there with food prep. She also worked at a variety of other places before retiring from Sodexo at Francis Howell Middle School. Lavern married her loving husband, Chris McLane, on December 1, 1995. They went on to have their beloved son, Dalton.
Lavern is survived by her Husband of 28 years, Chris McLane; loving Son, Dalton McLane; Daughter-in-law, Kaetlyn McLane and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lavern Sutton.
