Laverne Burchardt

Laverne Marie Burchardt, age 97, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023 in O'Fallon, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 11, 1926 to Charles and Charlotte Klaus (nee Froeschner).

Laverne had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She was in many different choirs for over 80 years. Laverne loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Laverne is survived by her Son, David (Amy) Burchardt; Two Daughters, Donna (Steven) James, Kathleen Williams; Four grandchildren, Marc (Katie) James, Rebecca (Eric) Kovach, Alexandra Burchardt, Brooke Burchardt; Two great-grandchildren, Parker James, Charlotte James; Niece, Pat (Charlie) Hoffman; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Charles Klaus; Mother, Charlotte Klaus; Husband, Robert Burchardt.

Funeral Ceremony will be 11:00 am Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Peters Chapel. Interment to follow Funeral Ceremony at Friedens Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
