Laverne Susan Keating
July 19, 1950 — May 14, 2021
Laverne Susan Keating (nee Brune) lost her battle with COPD on May 14, 2021 at age 70 in Saint Peters, MO.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Keating; her granddaughter, Alyssa Ewing-Agar; her great-grandson, Hayden; her siblings, Linda (Dale) Spaulding (nee Brune), Lois (George) Holbrook (nee Brune) and Dale Brune; and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Her Parents, Edward P. Brune and Luella Brune (nee Brandt) preceded her in death.
Laverne graduated from Stanford-Brown Business College and spent most of her working life at the Lee-Rowan Co. and the Newell Co. as a consumer service representative.
In retirement she played computer games, especially Words with Friends, did puzzles and knitted. She had a great love for animals and loved watching her beloved Cardinals.
A visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm with a memorial service at 12:00 pm, both on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, Saint Peters, Missouri 63376. Her cremated remains will be placed to rest in the Ste. Philippine Cemetery in Saint Charles County.
In lieu of flowers, prayers would be appreciated. Donations to the Humane Society would continue to express her love for animals.
