LaVerne C. Wisniewski, age 95, of Chesterfield, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. She was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on December 1, 1925 to Lawrence and Clara Graflage (nee Cassing).
LaVerne was a faithful wife, loving mother and doting grandmother. She was a devout Catholic. LaVerne lived a long and full life and passed just three weeks prior to her 96th birthday. She is loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
LaVerne is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Donald) Funke, Cheryl (Glenn) Cuppy and Donna (Randy) Laxton; her daughter-in-law, Nikki Wisniewski; her grandchildren, Christopher (Kathie) Wisniewski, Carrie (Michael) Backers, Amy (Jason) Sanzottera, Jill (Eric) Williams, Jessica Laxton, Matthew (Heather) Cuppy, Patrick (Melissa) Cuppy, Daniel (Nora) Laxton, Jacob Funke and Megan (Sean) Flaherty; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Sandy Graflage. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Wisniewski; her children, Ronald Wisniewski and Diana Stevens; her parents, Lawrence and Clara Graflage; and her siblings, Florence (Jerry) Rauschenbach and Lawrence Graflage;
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 11:00 am with mass to follow at 11:15 am, both on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Incarnate Word Catholic Church, 13416 Olive Blvd, Chesterfield, MO 63017. Interment will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
