Lawrence Evert Land, age 91, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in O'Fallon, Missouri. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on July 27, 1927 to the late Floyd and Bessie Land (nee: Cook).
Lawrence was a Police officer at St. Louis Police Department for 32 years. He was married to Vivian Land for 43 years.
Beloved Husband of Vivian (Jaggie, nee: Governal); dear father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother-in-law and cousin.
Proudly served in WWII and Sgt of St. Louis City Police Dept.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2018, 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO 63376.
Funeral Ceremony will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2018 9:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO 63376.
Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hope for the Warriors in honor of Lawrence.
