Lawrence A. Tippett

Lawrence A. Tippett, age 80, of Moscow Mills, Missouri passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on August 23, 1942 to John and Clara Tippett (nee Danter).
Larry "Jack" loved his family and was a great provider for them. He especially loved and cared for his wife, Darlene "Mutha", and in her later years always made sure she was taken care of and comfortable. In his younger years, Larry enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. Later in life, he was an avid woodworker and tinkered with television and radio repairs. Larry was quite the storyteller. He even convinced his grandchildren that he was the original Crocodile Hunter. His family will forever miss his unique personality and always remember his special hellos and goodbyes.
Larry is survived by his daughters, Christina Wilson, Cynthia (Barry) Medley, and Cheryl Jones; his son, Kenneth (Nikki) Tippett; his granddaughters, Cayci Wilson, Andrea Tippett, Christian (Adam) Ingrande, Tori Jones, Samantha (Alex) Gholson, and Alexis Cameron; his grandsons, Jeremy Hays, Cody (Rachel) Jones, Devin Wilson, and Evan Medley; his great-grandchildren, Bentleigh Tippett and Hampton Ingrande; his brothers, Robert (Carol) Tippett and Charlie (Linda) Tippett; and his sister-in-law, Dorthea Tippett. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Tippett; his father, John Tippett; his mother, Clara Tippett; his brothers, John Tippett, Dennis (Pat) Tippett, Raymond (Pat) Tippett, and Steve Tippett; and his sister, Dorothy Tippett.
Visitation will take place from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm with military honors to follow at 2:00 pm, all on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
